Normally, when I go to the grocery store, I have Kepler with me, we operate the “scan/bag/go” scanner, I have my phone with the grocery list on the wunderlist app, and I’ve got my eyes peeled for loss leaders and other sales that fit in with the products we normally buy. Between Kepler’s comments and questions, me guiding him in the scanning, me pulling out my phone to check items off the list, keeping the grocery cart stopping and going as needed, my brain gets a serious workout.

Today. Contented sigh. Purr purr purr. It’s like Calgon came and took me away in the middle of the cereal aisle.

THAT IS MY GROCERY LIST, PEOPLE. I can check things off on my watch without having to get my phone out at all. I cannot tell you how much easier this makes shopping. The list can be as long as I like. I just scroll up and down to see what’s next. Each time the phone goes off, the checked items are removed, so the next time I raise my wrist, only what is left appears.
