Great posts as always. Yes, I know exactly what you mean. Losing a child is any parent’s worst nightmare. I remember my mother would often stress out when I didn’t give her a call letting her know by what time I would be coming home from a place. I think it’s a part of any parent’s instinct. Parents simply have a desire for their children to be safe away from situations of danger. And it’s only understandable given the amount of child abduction cases in the United States. A fantastic film capturing the dangers of child abduction that is well worth seeing is “Prisoners”. It’s a terrifying film capturing the feeling of uncertainty you discussed in this post regarding parents being unaware of children’s whereabouts. Not an easy watch but it truly does open your eyes to harsh reality of child abduction. Here’s why I recommend it strongly:
